Future Digital Services – Digital Mailbox

Government electronic mail, electronic invoices, contracts for the general public

Julia, as Senior Art Director and Interaction Designer at Bankgirot, played a key role in the development of the digital mailbox project. Through a series of design workshops and insight work, she helped create the concept for Bankgirot’s digital mailbox. Her responsibilities included developing wireframes and graphic design for two digital prototypes in both low and high fidelity, as well as designing a logo. These prototypes were tested and validated with stakeholders and end-users to explore various concepts.

Following the success of the initial phase, which included the design workshop and wireframe development, Bankgirot immediately began discussions for further collaboration. Julia continued to build on the foundation she had established, crafting a high-quality, user-friendly HiFi prototype for Bankgirot’s future digital services. This complex mailbox system would manage various services, including government electronic mail, electronic invoices, contracts and more for the general public.

Throughout the project, Julia led the creation of both the concept and design, ensuring the Digital mailbox would meet user needs. The project also involved user testing and interviews, allowing Julia and the team to refine the service. This work was integral to Bankgirot’s deepening commitment to digital transformation and their future digital strategy.

Challenges

Julia faced the challenge of developing a user-friendly and efficient digital mail system that could handle a range of services, including government e-mails, e-invoices, and contracts. This involved designing a complex system that was intuitive for the general public. Additionally, the project required iterative testing and feedback from both stakeholders and end-users to refine the concepts and ensure usability.

Outcome

Julia successfully delivered a high-quality, user-friendly HiFi prototype, which became the foundation for Bankgirot’s first digital mailbox. Her work contributed to Bankgirot’s ongoing commitment to digital transformation, ensuring the system was not only functional but also aligned with future digital service strategies. The project’s success was validated through user testing and feedback, reinforcing the value of her design approach.
